Become a member of the Wharton Undergraduates in Public Policy!
There are two ways to join WUPP:
1. Opt-In to Join as a General Body Member – No Application Needed
2. Apply to be on a specific Committee (see below) – Application Required

Committee Descriptions
Application is required for the following committees:
1. Policy: This committee works directly with our policy clients to deliver solutions and industry-based recommendations.
2. Marketing: This committee advertises all of our events and creates promotional materials, including our socials & merch.
3. External: This committee works to invite industry guests and special speakers — and also plans our annual Career Trek to Washington, D.C.!
4. Finance: This committee handles WUPP’s annual budget.
Club Recruitment Process
August/December: Find us at PennClubs and click around on this site to determine if you are interested in joining our organization. Recruitment will not yet be open, so you have time to read about our opportunities.
August/December: Decide if you want to join as a Committee or General Body Member, depending on your interest, other involvements, or desired time commitment.
September/January: Recruitment opens! Attend our Information Session to meet some of our Executive Board and learn more. Dates will be posted on our Instagram @pennwupp.
September/January: Navigate to PennClubs and either “Opt-In” to join as a General Body Member OR complete the full application for a specific Committee role.
After Applying
Next Steps
Our Executive Board will determine which candidates will move on to the interview round. We will conduct up to 2 rounds of interviews and notify all prospective applicants of their status along the way.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept all students into our limited Committee positions, but there will be another opportunity to apply in the next cycle if you are still interested!
